When we allow our imaginations to soar to new heights, we can realize our true potential. If you see an eagle, it’s a reminder that the Divine exists in everything – all that we are, all that we see, hear, smell, taste, and feel – has an element of the sacred in it.
Blessed with such keen eyesight, the eagle sees things from a viewpoint that humans cannot. People in ancient cultures viewed the eagle as connected to the Creator. Thus, they believed the eagle could see what was going to happen on Earth before it actually occurred.
Kundalini is a healing form of divine spiritual energy that is sourced at the base of the spine. It’s thought to be dormant until it’s awakened through spiritual practices.
Snakes shed their skin several times every year, and for this reason, they are symbols of transformation, renewal, and rebirth. In addition, snakes can create a continuous circle with their bodies, as well as a spiral. Hence, snakes are also symbols of eternity. Because snakes can coil into a spiral pattern, they are thought to be connected with this divine pattern of the Universe.
There is an ancient Egyptian story that bees were born from a tear in the eye of the sun, touching upon their goldenness, the sense that honey is gold, materialized sunlight.
The Queen bee is a symbol of emotional and physical growth. If you have been working on yourself and struggling to know if you are moving in the right direction, the Queen bee is there to let you know that you are. The Queen bee is the only one to survive when the winter comes, she is the one who builds the new hive in the spring, she is a symbol of growth and renewal.
Its dual nature, expressed allegorically in the form of a goat whose body terminates in a fish’s tail, refers to the dual tendencies of life towards the abyss (or water) on the one hand, and the heights (or mountains) on the other; these two currents also signify, in Hindu doctrine, the involute and evolute possibilities: the return to or the departure from The Wheel of Rebirth.
In some traditions, the goat symbolizes the masculine principle and the reproductive powers of the sun. The goat typifies foolishness in the valley, but that which is far-seeing and sure footed when on the mountain.
Thus, Kraken is a symbol of the mysteries of the depths. Since the ocean, and Water in general, is associated with intuition, the subconscious and emotion, references to the Kraken also speak to your deepest subconscious desires. Sometimes emotions can loom large and feel monstrous. The Kraken is emblematic of such emotions that seem large enough to become all consuming. In addition, our longings and desires can feel like a hunger we must satisfy. Kraken represents that part of our subconscious which propels us through the waves of emotion, as we grasp for what we desire.
